Car accident while on cell phone

Driving while talking on a cell phone is allowed in Massachusetts.  However, if your are between the ages of 16 1/2 and 18, it is prohibited. It is unlawful for any driver of any age to be texting while driving. Often times teenagers cause personal injuries due to motor vehicle accidents because they are not paying attention or they are self grooming in the mirror or talking/texting on their cell phones.  This is evidence of negligence if injury is caused from this behavior. In addtion to fines you could also be faced with automatic loss of your license.

If your a victim of this, make sure you document the names and addresses of witnesses and call the police to get an independent report of the accident scene.  Seek medical treatment for injury and call a qualified Boston car accident lawyer.
