"My ex-boyfriend and I owned a home together. We have one child, age 8. A year after moving out, he hired a lawyer to force the sale of our home. My son and I would have had to sell the house and move. My son would have been uprooted from his home, local school and neighborhood. I hired Attorney St. Louis based on a recommendation from a friend. He immediately got an appraisal done on the home and filed some motions in court. After mediation and presenting the evidence to my ex's lawyer, we reached a settlment that allowed my son and I to stay in our home for 5 more years and a 70/30 split in my favor on any future sale.
